The Softwood FD30 Fire Door Casing is a precision-engineered, fire-rated timber frame designed to complement FD30 fire doors, providing up to 30 minutes of certified fire resistance. Manufactured from high-quality softwood, this casing ensures safety, durability, and a natural aesthetic appeal suitable for both residential and commercial environments. It guarantees reliable protection in the event of a fire while maintaining ease of installation and versatility.

- Fire rating is FD30, tested to provide 30 minutes of fire resistance.
- Premium kiln-dried softwood, redwood or whitewood
- Precision machined and pre-grooved to accommodate intumescent fire and smoke seals.
- Available in standard sizes, in store finish sizes are 106mm, 132mm, 145mm and 169mm
- Supplied unfinished for on-site painting, staining, or sealing.
- Designed for use with FD30-rated fire doors and suitable ironmongery.
- Sourced from FSC® or PEFC™ certified timber for environmental responsibility
- All casings come with an untrenched head so it can be made to suit any size on site

Delivery Information
We offer FREE local delivery on all orders over £200.00. For all other orders a 25.00 local delivery charge will apply. We deliver within a 15 mile radius of our depot. (For any distances outside of this radius, please contact your nearest branch and we will be able to accomodate.)
We aim to deliver stocked items usually within 2-3 working days but in busier periods this can sometimes take longer. On receipt of your order we will contact you as soon as possible to advise an intended delivery date, should this delivery date be inconvenient then we will try our best to accommodate a suitable delivery date.
Click & Collect Information
Orders can also be collected from either of our depots. We will contact you by phone or email when your order is ready for collection.
We aim to process your order and have goods ready for collection within the same working day (stocked items only) on all orders placed before 1pm, orders after 1pm will be ready the following working day. In the event of your ordered items being out of stock we will contact you with an estimated lead time on your order.
